About This Event

The webinar is aimed to share the scope of the bilingual and bicultural approach in pastoral care that HILA Zhuhai is conducting. As a bilingual school, we think of language not only as “language” but as “language + culture.” We create opportunities for our bilingual learners to connect and engage with their learning in a relevant way. As HILA, we follow local EDB policies and are looking for a positive combination and adaptation to create a meaningful context for learning. We have a weekly flag-raising ceremony, and pupils will join Young Pioneer and Communist Youth League when they are eligible. We are trying to find the best bilingual and bicultural approaches to pastoral care so that our students flourish both academically and personally, and socially.
